I. Police
• GE
• Chief reports the department continues to prepare strike contingency plans in coordination with GE security
II. Fire
• Village auction site for surplus equipment
• Chief Cruse has researched a online service for disposing of obsolete equipment. The solicitor has assured Chief Cruse this is a viable solution. Village personnel would be able to list the equipment themselves all payment transaction is handled by Hamilton County for a fee of 7.5% of the award price. Department heads will make the decision on what is put online. Committee supports moving forward with this process for equipment disposal.
• Weather warning sirens information
• Hamilton County has informed Chief Cruse that they have identified which sirens will be getting upgrades. Evendale retains future maintenance responsibilities.
III. Other Items
• Liberty Tree Memorial
• Committee felt that the current economic situation the purchase of this memorial tree is not a necessary expenditure.
